    Evidence Driven Design
    Product Camp, 2014, Seattle

I gave a talk at a Product Management conference on evidence-driven design and four qualitative research methods that can be used to evaluate a product at different stages of the development process. The methods were:

    • Interviews

    • Concept Testing

    • RITE Testing

    • Desirability Toolkit

This was an unconference so I decided to use hand-drawn slides to really focus more on the content.

    Windows 8 Design
    Microsoft Store, 2012, Bellevue, WA

This is a presentation a coworker and I gave at the Microsoft Store in Bellevue, WA in partnership with a developer evangelist at Microsoft. We presented to a group of engineers on the basics of UX design and common design patterns to consider for their Windows 8 apps. The talk was well attended and we were later invited as guest judges and coaches at Windows 8 hackathons.
